Yesterday i had the pleasure of working with Andrew of Showcase Kitchens in Southwick. We had the opportunity to try fitting a new kitchen to his range. It was a kitchen from Wood & Wood. 32mm Solid Tulipwood doors. 25mm Carcasses in softwood. The doors come primed and fitted to the carcasses from the factory. Overall i enjoyed working with this new range, felt solid and future proof. The feeling of quality was definitely felt.
Once fitted its ready for hand painting and Granite work tops. Andrew was very happy with the finished article, as was I. I believe he is going for a navy blue painted finish and a similar finish Quartz style stone with a touch of blue to bring it all together. I believe he will be putting a nice satin brass handle to complete the look.
The fit took a day in total. Most of the cabinets were fitted by lunchtime but then came all the small details which finished the day off. Attached will be some pics of progress and the finished fit.
And of course all the festool came out to play.
